#283 - Merry Christmas and various thoughts (Watt Thoughts)

Merry Christmas and have a good holiday season. I realize for some this is a sad time as we remember loved ones that have died and for others because of no job or limited income the celebration is really muted. However I encourage everyone to take their minds off the cares of the world for at least a short time. The Christmas celebration is a celebration of Jesus 2000 years ago and is a major holiday for Christians. As with other holidays quite often items taken from different cultures and groups and are included and some other religions celebrate holidays now too.

I hope for all that we all have a better new year. Hopefully the economy will continue to improve, it has a long way to go in many places and jobs are hard to find and you may not be able to get a job that pays as well or rewards as ones in past but many of us have faced that a while.

Now for a lighter side. I saw a sign on a church in NW Georgia recently that said "Piano player needed All are invited" I think they meant that as two different things but not as I read it driving by. I thought you may have some bad piano players appear ready to play.

I hope you are able to enjoy a good holiday with your family.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year.

This is a little article I am doing across the Internet of my personal opinions. This reflects my personal thoughts. I try to write several times a month on a variety of subjects. It may be religious at times, political at times, and at other times just my reactions on something happening out there. It will often be like an op-ed article. If I do what I intend, you will at times want to shout I agree, other times you will want to say Dwight has really lost it now, but most importantly I want to challenge you to think. Feel free to forward this to others. If you don't want to get this e-mail let me know. Feel free to use what you read from me, but I request you give me credit and send a tear sheet if published in a newspaper or magazine. Thanks.
